OCT. 28, 2017 – WRITERS TO TALK!

Whatcha doing next Saturday afternoon?

If you’re in Kerrville, Texas, do plan to be at the Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library at 2 p.m. for a WRITERS PANEL with yours truly, PAMELA MORSI, and JOLENE NAVARRO.

We are traditional writers–we are published only by publishers. We’re “romance” writers, yet none of us fit into what most people think of when one thinks of all those shades of hot fiction.

Pamela Morsi of San Antonio has twice been awarded the honor of best of the best by Romance Writers of America; and her peers usually nod when someone says she’s written the greatest historical romance novel of all time—Simple Jess.

Boerne’s Jolene Navarro is a star at Harlequin—the publishing house that got the romance genre going to start with. Anyone who can write for Harlequin is considered SPECIAL in the world of publishing. It’s very hard to sell to Harlequin. Jolene’s sold a number of books to their Inspire line.

Yet those two ladies do NOT write bump-and-grind. So how do they do it—and do it so very successfully—in these days of 50 Shades of Grey?

Come by and hear what we have to say. Believe me, you won’t be bored. Besides, there’s plenty of free stuff and door prizes, some it being books, plus a few books to purchase (mostly to benefit the library), and for YOU. The nice folks at the Friends of the Library have even arranged to have refreshments.

So stop on by. Be there at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, Kerrville’s library overlooking the Guadalupe River.
